Thank You to Karen in Massachusettes for the wonderful update on Napoleon Aka Leon or Leo.
Karen purchased Leo(n) for her young grandchildren a little over a year ago. This pony was a wonderful "babysitter" pony for foals & might not have been viewed by the impatient droves as child's-pony-material but Karen saw a good deal and a Wonderful pony. Her updates warm our hearts and are the epitome of what an owner hopes for in a new home for their equines! She writes: I wanted to send you a quick note to say hello and let you know how Leo is doing. We are all so thankful to have him with us. He's hauled kids double about to the little store and waited patiently while we get treats for him as well as the kids.He's been patient with all the kids that come swarming over to say hello to him and been specailly patient with the little girls who want to braid his mane and cooo over him! AND he's put up with all the silly things I ask him to do. I try to keep him exposed to as many things as possible so he stays calm and quiet no matter what happens.. so he has to put up with me rolling balls under him or bouncing them off his rear or making him haul things about and as the picture will show asking him to distribute Halloween Candy. My son and daughter in law took the kids trick or treating so it was my job to distribute candy so I hauled pony out and dressed like the headlesss horseman and asked pony to stand with me on him while all these weird goblins and witches came out of the dark to beg candy from us. What a trooper he was.. didnt' budge the whole time no matter what strange creature approached him! He's a treasure and we are all so blessed and thankful to have him.
