Sea Grass Farm derives its name from the "sea" of tall, lush grass that spans the extroidinary view out the back of the farm clear to the far Mountain Ridge.  Everyone who stands and absorbs the magnificent view of the back pasture immediately decompresses - it's amazing.  They take a deep breath & say "WOW".

For many people today - the view over open water, such as during summer vacation to the beach, is a rare opportunity to experience nature free of the obstructions of man.  Our sea of grass reminds us of that view - all nature, just nature, gently swaying frons of green grass....  Our view is particularly remminicent of the views we know on Cape Cod, such as looking over the water to Martha's Vineyard.  So, we could not get away from or find a farm name more fitting than Sea Grass Farm!

Our amazing new farm offers over 100 acres of pasture alone!!!

No over stressed, eaten down or dirt lot "pasture" where only toxic weeds flourish.  No rocks either - just smoothly rolling grass land.   Our soil is fertile, the grass thrives and no more than one horse per two acres in our pasture.

Hot Air Balloons can be seen floating over the farm several times a week from Spring through Fall.

Our pasture is fenced with coated safety fencing - no high tensile that can cut or board that can splinter or impale. Allowing the horse as close as possible to their most natural habitat and diet is our goal.  With carefully controlled herd numbers and large, well cared for pastures, the stress on our horses is minimized and they are free to relax and be a horse.  You would think with such a large, free range environment it would be impossible to catch our horses - nope, with the Partnership Communication we practice our horses actually come running, even when they know we are going to work with or ride them.  And it may be hard for some to understand but our horses actually like to "play" with us!

And for horse & rider we have more than 300 acres of cross country riding including our Training Trail Course and for ring riding a large 150 x 200 outdoor riding ring.  A new indoor arena is scheduled for early 2007 (who wants to ride inside with all this beauty to take in!!).

We offer Learning Sessions, Play Dates, Fun Rides, membership and as-you-ride trailer in use of our resources.

In the future look for other clinic, shows & events ....
